Terms of Service

This is a draft agreement prepared for Royalhouse Students Associations (ROSA) and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before being relied upon as a binding legal document.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using ROSA Platform ("ROSA"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. What ROSA Is

ROSA is a membership and tithe-management system for Royalhouse Students Associations, a ministry of Royalhouse Chapel International. It lets members and campus officers record and track tithes and pledges, manage membership records, and communicate campus and administrative information.

3. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate, current information when registering, and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • Each person should hold one account. Do not create an account on behalf of someone else without their knowledge.
  • Notify us or your campus secretariat promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Campus Registration & Approval

A new campus registered through ROSA is reviewed and approved by ROSA's national administration before it becomes active. Until approved, the registering account is held on a temporary placeholder campus and has no special campus privileges.

5. Tithes, Pledges & Payments

  • Digital tithe payments are processed by Paystack, a licensed third-party payment processor. ROSA does not directly handle your card or mobile money credentials.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of amounts and details you enter.
  • Tithes and offerings are voluntary gifts. As is standard for religious giving, completed tithe payments are not refundable, except where required by law or where a payment was made in clear error — contact your campus secretariat in that case.
  • Manually recorded tithes (cash, cheque, bank deposit) are entered by authorised campus officers on your behalf and are subject to the same accuracy expectations.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access data, campuses, or accounts you are not authorised to access.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with ROSA or any campus.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform, including through excessive automated requests.
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to submit fraudulent payment or membership information.

7. Roles & Data Access

ROSA grants different levels of data access based on your role (member, campus officer, or administrator). Campus officers and administrators are granted this access solely to carry out legitimate ministry and administrative duties, and must not use it for any other purpose.

8. Intellectual Property

The ROSA Platform software, design, and branding are the property of Royalhouse Students Associations and Asterixify Innovations. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

ROSA is provided "as is" and "as available." While we take reasonable steps to keep the platform secure and available, we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Royalhouse Students Associations and Asterixify Innovations are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. This does not limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Termination

We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms, is inactive for an extended period, or upon a member's own request to their campus secretariat. Financial records are retained per our Privacy Policy even after account removal.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
